He was one year left on his contract, so unless they sell now he’d he signing a contract with them in December and receive nothing.

I get that but I fancied Palace to get Europe again either domestically or through winning the conference league. Not sure that's achievable now losing 2 best players for me - Eze and Guehi.

Glasner will be off at the end of his contract in the summer. His family live in Germany and how is he going to kick us on with our (very annoying but very necessary) business plan?
If we get a Europa League place that should attract someone decent.
