2025/26 Youssef Chermiti

It's weird how vicious some posters in this thread are. As far as I'm aware the lad has never done anything wrong in training or on social media regarding the club. A transfer of a young lad didn't work out, it happens all the time, and we're seemingly getting a decent fee for him, why all the vitriol?
It seems like it doesnt matter now that Moyes has steadied the ship but in the wrong management hands (i.e. the fella previous to Moyes) its the kind of signing that could and nearly did sink us.

If you have offers from European clubs wtf would you go there for? Chermiti needs his head feeling.
Rebuilds his reputation...

Farmers league so he can play at half speed and bag for fun...

Make a name for himself with some headline grabbing goals against celtic...

European football of some kind every year...

Young enough to pad his stats and get a decent move off of it

Not at all mate . It’s not as bad as it’s made out . Most folk have friends and family in the other end . The songs are essentially for the most part just noise . Sure there are some who take it a bit too far , but most can leave it in the ground nowadays . From my own perspective , my mums a Protestant and my Dad is RC . We were brought up RC but half our family wa ms the other side and is say most of my friends growing up were pretty similar . I’ve got Rangers supporting cousins who I’ve actually seen behind the segregation line a few times and we exchanged pleasantries 😂 I hate Rangers because they are our biggest rivals for trophies and possibly players … nothing else

Well I wish that chocolate teapot Patterson would go back there and rebuild his 'reputation'.

Our fans are very weird about young players. One of our worst traits

…..I think we have opinions on players, regardless of the fact they are young or old. If it goes against the general consensus then you’re accused of having an agenda or the ‘ageist’ point is made.

I just haven’t seen any promise in Chermiti, it’s not an age thing it’s just an opinion. I saw DCL for U21 soon after his summer arrival and predicted he’d be in the first team by December, again not age related just opinion based on what I saw.

Posters jump on the ‘age’ bandwagon when it’s purely opinion on players capability. Surely that’s what a forum is for.

Poor signing this. 2 seasons with us and not scored a single goal.

Obviously affected by injuries but that doesn't excuse his complete lack of impact in nearly every game he played for us.

Only young so hopefully he can fulfill his potential but we can't wait around to see if that will happen as he just hasn't made an impact.
I cannot thing if a single thing he did in an Everton shirt while he's been here.
