Let's wait and see what today brings, but if they get Rohl, Ake and the right back over the line today, I'd submit this is the best transfer window we've ever had. Even if we got none of those, it would rank quite highly, but for my money the only window which touches it is the Lukaku/Barry/McCarthy/Deulofeu window and that has to be tempered slightly by the fact we brought in Alcaraz and Kone too.

I think they’ve really backed the manager here. I know people will complain about a right back, but if you’d said at the end of last season that we’d extend Branthwaite’s deal, keep all our top players and then bring in:

Barry, Dibling, Grealish, Dewsbury Hall, Alcaraz, Rohl, Aznou, Travers, King.

For about 150 mill

I’d have taken that all day long

This for me is one of the best windows I can remember us having, and I think players such as Grealish Dewsbury Hall will give us the immediate lift (and already have) but also Dibling Alcaraz Barry Aznou Rohl could be long term stars for us

The squad has been substantially rebuilt with the age of key players coming down, and the value massively increasing. There’s a few positions that will need attending to in future windows like all clubs have but we really have done a lot of work in this window.

They suggest the Budweiser deal is long term (7 years i think) worth around £2.1m/annum. Not sure i've seen that mentioned anywhere.

Yep. The lack of RB is a blot on an otherwise clearly very successful window. It is undeniably and objectively true that the new owners have backed the manager with the outlay, let alone the scale of the rebuild that was required generally.

We obviously have more work to do but we've got through a hell of a lot.

No right back is a shocker yet again. However big Jake is not a weak point defensively, only offensively, so it’s not the end of the world if we can compensate for a lack of creativity at RB elsewhere.

Compared to pretty much every team other than the RS we’ve had a brilliant window.

Sure main focus of recruitment team between now and Jan is a RB and Striker

Never going to fix everything in one window but they came very close.

It’s interesting to hear figures put on various deals - also that a lot of credit seems to go back to the Moshiri era
