I doubt these lads are giving up first team football in the Bundesliga to sit on the bench of a PL team without Europe.
If he’s joining he’s going to be playing.
Everton fans are going to have to start getting used to a world where a 36 year old isn’t starting 38 PL games a season for us as an automatic first pick.
James Garner has completely won Moyes over as one of the midfield pivots. He’s a nailed on starter. Dibling hasn’t come to sit on the bench, neither has KDH, neither will Rohl.
haha so good actuallyI want him just for the song:
Oh, ho, ho, he's magic
Don't you know...
The tricks up his sleeve, Merlin Rohl..
Oh ho, ho he's magic
Don't you know...
And he'll never leave, Merlin Rohl..
Yeah, but is he PL ready/Moyes fit/loves scouse/drinks in the Winslow/etc?"Merlin's taking big strides after his injury troubles. He's got pace, great movement. He can be a real difference-maker, and he completely identifies with the club." - Former Freiburg head coach Christian Streich
"He fought his way into [Freiburg's] team. That's not easy. He focused on defensive work and also came into his own offensively. He's very quick and determined. He's very dangerous." - Germany U21 head coach Antonio Di Salvo
"Merlin's the complete midfielder. He can do it defensively and offensively." - Röhl's former coach at Ingolstadt, Tomas Oral
Rohl has been a sub for Freiburg recently as much as he's been a starter. He's started both games this season on the bench.I doubt these lads are giving up first team football in the Bundesliga to sit on the bench of a PL team without Europe.

Yup. This boy is an upgrade to our midfield. For the club to progress, Gana must become wise-old-head filler and then Garner an option from the bench. One of those things will happen this season.I doubt these lads are giving up first team football in the Bundesliga to sit on the bench of a PL team without Europe.

Nice1Rohl,Rohl,Rohl the ball
Gently thru midfield
Beto takes a shot
And ends up smashing someone’s car windshield.
Gueye is one of, if not our most important players. You may not notice it when he’s on the pitch, but you do when he’s not on itI doubt these lads are giving up first team football in the Bundesliga to sit on the bench of a PL team without Europe.

So long as you weren't a Junker...Ganz Gut!
But I was an inside forward or left winger in my playing days! Scrum half in that other game...
Moyes going for a different tactical angle - no more fixed positions. Players expected to move and interchange positions.Definitely not moaning, great that we're signing players. Just think that as we've all said that a traditional holding midfielder and a right back are a priority.
When we enquired about him we spoke to Hans Messerschmitt on extension 109So long as you weren't a Junker...
