Sausage or Bacon

For my sins I once tried a vegan sausage. Don't.

If you could only have one of them, which would you choose?

Overall I would go for a good pork sausage, if you can source one. I have a problem with bacon in this country - injected water, bacon ends up floating in the stuff if you aren't careful. Oh, and I agree, vegan sausages, that I have tried, are foul.

Bacon 100%, sausages are nice but occaisionallly you drop on one that has a lump of gristle in it that is probably part of a pigs bell end.

I'm in the anti bacon-in-burger side of this schism.

Also would rather have sausage than bacon. Sausage casserole, sausage pie, toad in the hole, sausage and mash, battered jumbo... Lincs sausages, obvs; none of that Cumberland muck.
