Incestuous perverts.
That's why I emphasised cooked well: if bacon is a bit poor and fatty, I'd still happily eat it if it's been cooked to a point it is crispy.
A rubbish sausage can be cooked well and it still tastes rubbish.

I've had a few vegan sausage rolls in my time (good ones to be fair), and I was hard-pressed to tell the difference. When I could, they tasted nice too.
They do one at Marine, which is really nice. Their seasoned meat pie is very, very nice too. Although, their pies are voted best pies in the football pyramid.

It's just like a glorified sausage patty. That reminds me, Moose do a fantastic breakfast burger with a sausage patty, bacon and a fried egg. Nom!

Sausages on the other hand, you see some and think they sound nice only to find there’s some underlying rank seasoning or ingredient added that ruins them.
Even a plain pork sausage has massive variations between stores, too salty, too peppery.
