Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Leeds have scored 1 goal in 3 a hotly disputed pen against guess who and have been knocked out of the Caribou cup. Not a great start.
Yeah, looks bad for leeds when you take that step back. Other than the one probably-not-a-penalty, 0 goals for and 5 against.

Burnleys only points are against Sunderland.

Sunderland looks good with 6 points...until you notice they have played West ham, Burnley, and Brentford.

Give it a couple weeks and the truth will shake out a little more.

Fulham were cheated today, it appears that the pretence of fairness has now been dispensed with in favour of ensuring certain clubs win.
It needs a team to do what the Manager/Chairman of a Turkish club did a few weeks ago. Blatant cheating decision against them - everybody off the pitch NOW! If that were to happen in the Prem there would be uproar, but it just might focus minds even more on the cheating that is going on.

Until such times as those responible working on VAR are not sacked instantly, then it will continue. 'Clear and obvious'? Don't make me laugh!

We use the phrase 'game's gone' a lot but we are witnessing the genuine dismantling of sporting competition. The transfer antics of the likes of Chelsea etc. allowing them to stockpile players at the expense of smaller teams is bad enough, but the VAR isn't even hiding it now.

I genuinely feel like VAR is helping to make the league like wrestling. Their main objectives seem to be (a) favour the big clubs, and when that doesn't apply, (b) give us a story. Like the pen in our game against Leeds - let's have a newly promoted team beat an established one in the first game.

The league was terrified about losing the treacherous 6, and are doing what they can to keep them sweet now.

I'd quite like to watch Arsenal this afternoon but I just can't stomach watching games at that 'kin shed.
Arsenal will continue to lose the league and win it before December. They are trying their best but I can’t get the phrase “arteta is still trying to dress up in his mummy’s clothes”. Out of my head when describing building his team with Pep out of sight.

I’ll be very surprised if arsenal get any result there today.
