He's not, but he is still very young. Two years younger than a "young and raw" Barry. And he has just lost 12 months of development due to injuries.

His potential is higher than Barry's, but potential isn't enough. He needs a move. He needed a move last summer.

What in earth are you talking about. Barry was banging them in in la liga last season while chermiti was picking his hole. The lad is awful and I reckon moyes was go smacked we paid anything for him

Personally I'd have liked to see more of him, but if his attitude is all wrong, then perhaps it's best we both part ways. He gets first team footy, we get £8m towards further investment into the squad. Win win imo

‘Significant sell on clause’ is as good as really as it’s effectively ‘X%’ off his market value if they get an offer.
I would hope significant means it’s north of 20%, I read Fellows to Saints has a 50% sell on so maybe it’s as high as that.

I think it all depends on what the club's expectations were for him: was he bought as one for the future (a player to develop) or to be part of the squad?

My inclination was that the original motive was the former, but due to one thing or another it became the latter. His sale will help fund other transers.

I feel sorry for Rangers fans on this one, they’re absolutely goosed and seem to be spending a massive chunk of their transfer pot on this lad. He’s absolutely awful, I’m not one to actively slag off players when they play for us but this lad was a massive waste of £12 million from a time when £12 million was a lot of money to us. By his age even Elis Simms had shown more flashes of potential. This lad isn’t even League 1 standard currently. Agents have a lot to answer for some of these players that get sold for big money

I watched a bit of Rangers play St Mirren or someone in the 2nd half before our game Vs Brighton and it was absolutely shocking standard. The Rangers players didn't look a level above or anything either. Both teams looked League 1 or 2 standard.

He is going to a league and club where Rod Wallace scored 40 goals in 77 appearances. He will be fine up there, great time to cash in.

He reminds me a bit of Danjuma the way you just see him on the bench all the time getting involved with celebrations but not doing it on the pitch when it matters.

I think he has potential, in pre season last season he looked good until he got injured and hasn't recovered since. I think Moyes must have too many questions over this lad and thats why he thinks selling is best. But the sell on clause is a good one because he might just become good and if he does the sell on clause should help get the money back we lost on signing him.
