2025/26 Jack Grealish

Remember watching a peak Zidane and he had that same quality were the ball just seemed glued to him

And both of them play with their head up constantly. It's partially how he sees to many passes.

I must admit, I didn't always get the Grealish hype before. Like I always thought he was good, but watching him for 3 games, I have under estimated how good he is.

In terms of first touch, decision making and playing with head head up, I've not seen anyone of ability at Everton. Far from being a luxury player, he's actually really good when you're under the cosh.

You compare him to someone like say a Barkley, who has loads of ability but you never thought he'd take the right option.

Sheedy played that way - not comparing them but yeah just that ability to always know where the ball is without checking.

Lost track of the number of times I said to our kid today that I felt sorry for the wolves lads trying to stop him.

Can see them go through a thought process, try to go in hard, get skinned or commit a foul, use numbers - he starts pinging it to the spaces and open players, then the default, stand off him and just let him do whatever he wants

Too young to watch Sheedy mate, but my dad always remarked about him in 87 about how he moved inside and basically won us the league. Maybe Harvey was similar.

The closest on my time watching us is probably Gareth Barry, but he did it in less dangerous areas of the pitch.

And agree 100% on his opponents. I think he actually suits being somewhere like us, or say Villa where sides aren't sitting deep, and honestly never will like they would V City. It utilizes his skills far more.

I don't normally like to attack England managers, as I couldn't care less about the England team, but none of their midfielders come close to Grealish. He's on another level really.

Already got me feeling like a kid again watching us. Lads infectious

Jack keep away from booze and get a good rest&recharge this international break. You deserve it. Stay away from drink and injury. You will be the best.
