What Did You Last Eat Thread

Dashed into Iceland earlier just to grab something for tea, picked up what I thought was a normal chicken Tikka masala, got home and realised it was chicken tikka but with a rich chocolate infusion. Ah well, thought I’d give it a go as I’d already bought it…. Jesus Christ…. I gave it a good go but I just couldn’t stomach it…. And it looked even worse, how your bog would look after 3 days on Guinness…. Avoid this at all costs … pic included to back up my horror

That's the cow pat from hell.

cold chicken tikka fillets, soft white wrap, garlic aioli, some basic hot sauce. Tasty and spicy, nothing to mad or time consuming. Probably needed a bit of lettuce and a spoonful of coleslaw.
I make my own tikka - we have it for tea most Fridays with salad in wraps. Always just enough leftover to enjoy again on Saturday before going out to the match. 👍🏻😋

Smart operating. I've a wicked scotch bonnet and lime marinade that is wonderous for chicken fillets in a bit of yogurt, air fry em. In a wrap, tasty, quality, fair priced, and quick.

If you ever want to try it, based on serving two hungry people…

• Chicken breasts x4, cut into decent sized cubes
• 2x tablespoons garlic and ginger paste
• 2x tablespoons lemon juice
• Generous application of salt and black pepper
• 75ml natural yogurt
• 1x tablespoon madras powder
• 1x teaspoon ground cumin
• 1x teaspoon ground coriander
• 1x teaspoon smoked paprika
• 1x teaspoon ground turmeric
• 2x teaspoons mild chilli powder

Mix well and put in the fridge for a few hours. Thread onto skewers and grill on high for 10 minutes, turning halfway through cooking. 👍🏻

Just made onion smothered Marsala sauce lamb chops on root veg mash (celeriac, carrot and parsnip) with broccoli in chilli oil.

Hairy biker’s recipe, was so much nicer than I thought it was going to be.
