Definite progress, we were far superior to Wolves and our players knew it - not had an away performance like that for a while. Both KDH and Jack can play the ball to open up a defence which we've missed since James. Can't believe MVK is being dug out for both goals, but guess that will always be the way here. Any chance of a real top forward in the window to come?

This weekend will tell a tale.
Outside of a wonder strike by Duran, I think the wolves equaliser last season was the best goal I'd seen in ages, so my goal of the season against us. It was all one touch football, no room for error, swept the ball across the pitch into stride one touch every time, run and hit first time finish. Was excellent. Applauded the quality at the time. (we rarely got close to the ball until it was in our box, and we still never got close).
Lets see what Wolves have this weekend and measure how we do vs last season.

I've more optimism about us of late than in a long while, some of that will be the new ground, and the new wave of positivity that's knocking about, but this squad is night and day. Our play (besides leeds) is night and day. We've players that are getting people up off their seats, and we're making a go of being sound in the league. It's been a 'kin hard road.
Their equaliser today. Wrote the above in the Mansfield thread midweek. Can clearly see a style of play to Wolves, but they were over run at times today, and because we kept working, they tired and slowly got used to chasing. Myko has to be stronger for their second, no two ways about it. But it's his first PL game and he's not fit or match sharp, so fair enough.

Are there any statisticians or historians in this forum that know when was the last time we were 1 point out of first place?

Other teams still have to play this weekend of course but it feels like forever since I looked at the table and saw us sitting in the Top Five...
