2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Lack physicality...but his ball control, passing, finishing and delivery is first class. If we dominate possession, he is shinning...if we contain, then he is struggling...so depending the opposition really.

Despite his goal...which he shinned like...I'd have had Alcaraz on for him after he scored today.

Alcaraz would have added a 4th there and we could have heaved a sigh of relief sooner.

He started crap. He had a great touch for the first.

The first half he was crap. The second he was poor but magically became ace after scoring.

If you cant agree with that then this conversation is over.

With the ref today? Even that accidental handball...our players were penalised, theirs didnt seem to be.

A tightrope.

You literally pulled up my post saying id have taken him off at h/t.

Tbh ive just seen my team win and cant be arsed with such posts of yours

You want to be proven right on an internet forum...for what?

Youre a joy killer.

Behvaving like an angry child.
Whilst you may be able to argue we shouldn’t jump off the deep end in praise your assessment is over the top harsh.

He has been here 5 minutes and is improving game on game, he’s streets ahead of what we have had here although granted that’s not hard!

I think he is technically sound, and will prove to be an important player for us. We are all entitled to our opinion but yours has come from before he was in an Everton shirt and you seem unable to shift from that.

There were a couple of passes out wide to players in oceans of space that he just didn't get right but overall a good performance. So nice to have players hit the ground running.

Goal and an assist…the exact stats that people judge our new signings for. He gets them and we complain about the other stuff 🤣
He has weaknesses. There is no doubt he was effective today. That goal in particular is exactly what we need from him. Clever movement for it too and he clearly has an engine. KDH is aggressively tidy which is okay if others can pick up the creative slack. Grealish absolutely has done that.

I think you'll find that i wanted him 2 years ago. When we were fighting relegation :)

I simply dont see him as a 10 at all. Whether that makes me 'wrong', I dont see that even after today :)

Even in the Roma game i didnt see it when he got alot of praise.

What I see is an attack minded 8 being used too far forward. I think if he was used deeper then he has the whole pitch ahead of him and can spray the ball around and be that player to link midfield with 3 or 4 players in front of him.

I'm not seeing a 10. After his goal he looked VERY effective in the advanced role. If he can be that player to elevate the team then not many will be happier than me.

I just think that we could have signed someone with the £25-30mil or whatever it ends up being to takeover from Gana - because for me as an 8 (where i see him as used best) they occupy similar spaces on the pitch.

I'd be surprised if i'm wrong about him moving into the 8 role and see others as superior as 10s.

Well that was a constructive response, and I have to say I can’t disagree with a lot of what you have said. I like his technical ability on the ball.

One thing I’ll say tho is that this team has options now, I think if we signed Paqueta then it’s getting exciting.

But fair play on your point!
