Can’t believe some people thought he would be a waste of money. To me, he’s a signing like Keegan for Shankly - he can be a transformative force.

Hopefully he enjoys it here and will fancy carrying on. I think our family feel will be a lot more to his liking.

yes the assists are great, but I'm also just loving the way he can get us up the pitch and keep us in attacking areas through technical ability and winning fouls, and essentially by opposition players just being scared of him. Huge difference from recent times where the ball would have just been passed straight back and then hoofed back to the opposition by our defenders.

Depends if there is a break clause in the contract, either way, it seems very unlikely.
