Great win. Should've be far far more comfortable than just a one goal win so that's the work in progress element in managing games when ahead.

Think with another addition before the deadline this side gets top 10, plenty of goal threats in the three positions behind the striker and for all his flaws Beto will get goals in these type of games.

Love you Jordan but when you kick long , could you maybe try not to kick it as hard as possible. 8 out of ten go straight through to the other goalie. The other 2 go out for throw ins.

I really don’t know why people are weirdly pro Keane. He’s been here 8 years yet the second he has an average game where we conceded 2 people are rushing to call him colossal.

This is why we‘ve been a nothing club for decades. This sort of ridiculous sentimental nonsense. What other fanbase in the PL would be calling a CB performance colossal when they’ve conceded 2 goals?

Correct. The primary issue with Keane isnt even his defending. Its he panics and just boots the ball back to the other team, letting them constantly attack us. Go back and look how many times in that match he had plenty of space and the chance to make a 5 yard pass to an open teammate breaking the pressure, but instead just wacked it anywhere(AKA, back to Wolves).

He puts you under so much pressure, eventually you break.

Tarkowski has been the liability so far, though we have to allow for the fact he is coming back from injury. O’Brien and Tarkowski were the weak points for the defence today.

If Branthwaite can get and stay fit after the international break we’ll be pushing for them outer european places! A couple of signings in before deadline as well for icing on the cake
