Night and day difference with him playing that role that Doucoure was behind the striker, he can actually take difficult to control balls and distribute them properly. Also seems to have the best understanding with Grealish, they've had a few good interchanges already for our build up to goals so far this season.

Even if he lacks a bit of a cutting pass he brings what Doucore brought and much more. It's not a bad thing if the movement is good and you are getting the creativity from other players. This squad has improved A LOT

Id have subbed him off at half time as he was a walking yellow as well.

Dramatically improved 2nd half since scoring. Hopefully thats the confidence boost he needed.

Still think he looks far better as a deeper player. Doesnt look like a natural fit at 10 to me.

I actually thought he was a little poor to begin with, loose with his touch and slow in the tackle but really turned it around with a great goal and assist!
