New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

The 'Evertonisation' of the stadium is planned for the next six months and beyond, so in the end there will be a lot more aesthetic work done.

Rightly or wrongly, the club has focused on ensuring the aspects of the stadium that are functional are in place and working in time.

This includes the lighting for the signage, vinyls on walls, overall decoration (there will be painting of some walls) and eventually statues on the plaza.

Yes, and they need to sort some kind of a queueing system for the bars on Level2.

Exactly. Whilst the aesthetic part is important to an extent, it's lower down the priority list compared to the functionality of the stadium.

They are the things that truly impact fans, their perception of the stadium as a whole and their general happiness; a few vinyls on the wall are pretty trivial.

Patience is a virtue, springs to mind.
I'd agree with this - but I don't think the general functionality of the stadium has been satisfactory, given kick-off delays, turnstile issues, congestion problems, overselling Club View, inadequate toilets, running out of food and drink, and selling season tickets for seats that don't exist.

Things take time - but there's a strong whiff of a rush-job about this move. We just don't seem to have been prepared as an institution. Not surprising, given the chaos of the club in recent years and its running as a museum for three decades.

At the 2 games, have people been faffing around scanning the QR code in the “rewards portal” every time they buy a beer so they can get enough points for car sticker?? That doesn’t sound like a good idea.

Does anyone know an email address for feedback for the new stadium or if the club are actively encouraging it?

On Wednesday, I was pleased to see the concourse area in the lower East Stand have far more "Evertonisation" on it which is a big step in the right direction for making it feel like home.

I was reading the Brighton forum and even though our own opinions are the most important thing it was a bit disappointing to see a few of the negative things being said and these were things that the club could simply put right.

The away concourse area looked bland from a picture I saw and I think that would be a good opportunity to remind certain clubs of the overall pecking order of English Football with historical feats we have achieved. I'm thinking of the Geordies for example.

The Brighton fans seemed disappointed in the lack of Everton stuff on the interior and I agree. I really think they need to have EFC in the seats painted white which I know has come up a lot. Even if it's next season.

The club need to take responsibility here, they need to give her a good seat for the season, and try to find a way for her and her family to sit together next season.
If that was me I would have gone nuts!
The club should give her whole party premium / lounge seats for the season and readress it in the summer

I take it they sacked off the special smell in the stadium? No-one has mentioned it. It was revealed in 2024 when various journos were give a stadium tour that the club had a commissioned a special scent that “fans would smell during games.”

It was said to be based on “Salt from the Mersey and freshly cut grass.”

Quite a safe choice given the massive river 100 yards away and the big patch of grass.
Noticed a faint whiff coming in towards the end on Wednesday but smelt more like the river than the shitworks

I think you are way off course here.

Of course there will challenges to be ironed out , it's brand new and bound to have a few teething problems.

But to say it was a " rush job " thats way out of touch.
The club have openly asked for feedback from fan experience and thats the right thing to do.

Its been a monumental lift to leave Goodison to the best football stadium In the country without any glitches.

Enjoy what it is for now and it will get better as the club and fans get used to it.
But let's not refer to our Beautiful New Home as a Rush job pls.
