Today’s Football 25/26 Season

It doesn't help that they intentionally slow the replay down and show it from specific angles, which makes it look far worse than it is.

If you could only show it in real time, I truly doubt whether any competent referee would be giving that as a foul.
This is what I keep saying to people. Stop showing these spineless referees everything in super slow-motion. It’s like the VAR are trying to exaggerate whatever slight contact there may have been. And conveniently only show certain angles.

The penalty United got against Fulham last week was a perfect example. They kept showing only the contact point in slow-mo. Made it look far worse than it was. In normal speed, it looked absolutely nothing.

This decision today, well, is another disgrace. Muniz has possession of the ball and accidentally stands on Chalobah when spinning his body. At no point is he making a ‘challenge’.

They see what they want to see. Koff.

Don't you mean, the VAR makes the referee see what they want him to see?

After the original angle from behind in full-time speed, they instantly focused on the foot being planted, all in slow motion.

Why show the contact first? Why show that aspect in slow-motion? It exaggerates the contact and perhaps the intention.
