Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Watching Tadley Calleva vs Weymouth, 1st qualifying round of FA Cup. Grassroots (is this all one word?) footy at it's finest. There are only 1 pair of Grealish socks on show for each side and a small amount of tackling is allowed ;)

How can the commentators sit there and try to justify it

Not to get all tin-foil-hat but that goal doesn’t get disallowed if it’s Cole Palmer spinning on the halfway line and accidentally stepping on someone’s foot in the process

Confused by the wording of ‘careless’ by the ref too - defender comes in very quickly and Muniz has nowhere else to put his foot

It’s football, accidental stuff like that happens and should get shrugged off and carry on

How is that a “careless challenge”? To even call it a challenge at all is a stretch. He just gets there first, takes possession of the ball and then stepped on the late arriving Chalobah as he turned upfield. Absolutely ridiculous to disallow that.

That grates me too. Why doesn't anyone ever say. Oh look it's the big team getting the decision again. I'm fuming, god knows how Silva feels especially after the two against United last week.

I've always thought this var was only brought in to find ways of finding favour for the so called big clubs. Just proves it time and time again.

Shocking decision, until you see that it benefits a scab team.
Muniz brings his foot down vertically, what else can be do? Chalobah is sliding in and puts his foot where Muniz is landing. Shows again that refs have no idea how the game is played.
