I've no way to judge, having never seen a squad that size before outside of international first round call ups where 40+ players get called in for the once over before a tournament. Probably have a better chance of naming their 2005 eleven than the current one. They're an anomaly.

As a player, you need to have competition for your place to push you on, and a team should always look to improve and enhance their options.

However, for a player in their squad, there must be a sense of apprehension because they're happy to bring so many in and then push people out.

What about relationships in the dressing room and on the pitch? I know it's easy to say, but it is a real life example of FIFA - mixing and matching.

There are positives of having consistency!
