New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Does anyone know an email address for feedback for the new stadium or if the club are actively encouraging it?

On Wednesday, I was pleased to see the concourse area in the lower East Stand have far more "Evertonisation" on it which is a big step in the right direction for making it feel like home.

I was reading the Brighton forum and even though our own opinions are the most important thing it was a bit disappointing to see a few of the negative things being said and these were things that the club could simply put right.

The away concourse area looked bland from a picture I saw and I think that would be a good opportunity to remind certain clubs of the overall pecking order of English Football with historical feats we have achieved. I'm thinking of the Geordies for example.

The Brighton fans seemed disappointed in the lack of Everton stuff on the interior and I agree. I really think they need to have EFC in the seats painted white which I know has come up a lot. Even if it's next season.

Away ends are usually bland. They'd just get vandalised if we put loads of Everton stuff up.

The 'Evertonisation' of the stadium is planned for the next six months and beyond, so in the end there will be a lot more aesthetic work done.

Rightly or wrongly, the club has focused on ensuring the aspects of the stadium that are functional are in place and working in time.

This includes the lighting for the signage, vinyls on walls, overall decoration (there will be painting of some walls) and eventually statues on the plaza.

the concourse area needs more to it, there should be at least High tables or something for people to stand around, if people got their beer and there was somewhere to go, I am sure they would

Having tables in the concourse would just add to the congestion as people have to navigate around the people stood around them?

Shelves around the perimeter is the way to go. There's a few around the columns where we are in upper SE.

Any news on the Nelson Dock ?
If we're going to take ownership of the dock, the club and its partners first need to draw up plans and undertake feasibility studies.

Is it going to be an Everton village (offices, education or even a small football related area), commercial and residential or a mixture of the two?

That'll all take time, so I wouldn't expect any tangible announcements any time soon.

Good point. Be better to sell every square inch of wall space in there for adverts. Particularly as no-one will kick off if they aren’t all blue.

Tbf the transformation of some of the walls in the concourses in the space of a week shows what can be done. Plenty can be done in the international break. But sounds like it should be all hands to the pump putting painted queuing lines/barriers around the F&B outlets.

Some big issue like access, stairs, lifts, restrictions on which gate can be used, Club View etc but you would hope there is someone solely in charge of identifying the really easy/quick/cheap wins and getting them done sharpish. Will lead to more goodwill and patience on the big issues.

Exactly. Whilst the aesthetic part is important to an extent, it's lower down the priority list compared to the functionality of the stadium.

They are the things that truly impact fans, their perception of the stadium as a whole and their general happiness; a few vinyls on the wall are pretty trivial.

Patience is a virtue, springs to mind.

The same thing can happen the other way round too, we could buy seat unique tickets for Anfield derby ?
I had a quick look at the Seat unique website for Liverpool 🤮. All their Seat unique seats have messages along the lines of “….Tickets are located in Home supporters areas. Any guests seen to be openly supporting the opposition or wearing away team colours are liable to be refused entry/ejected without compensation…….” The Everton seat unique seats have no such messages. This seems daft unless seat unique / EFC are actively encouraging away fans to buy these seats to drive up the price……

Agreed. My guess if they've left it bare partially because of helping people navigate it and get used to the concourse before plastering blue stuff all over it.

They have already done this, Colin Chong showed off a scale model a while ago, this article has some details and a top down view of the layout, basically it would be like Albert Dock with retail, restaurants and hotel

Not if it’s done properly, look at the image below, you could easily put in a high rectangle table in the space marked in purple and over where the guy is stood, circled in green, there is a brilliant view and you could have tables there, it gives people a natural place to move to once they have got their drink

Good spot mate

Don't dispute that, my issue is Premier League and clubs hypocritical attitudes towards touting. It's obviously more dangerous to sell tickets to people with no insurance that customer support home team. Yet Everton have hugely inconvenienced fans, through digital tickets, when you never had a serious problem with touting at Everton. Yet Everton are quite happy to risk fans safety by selling tickets to opposition supporters
