Everton Youth Teams Thread

Max Dowman has been promoted to that u19s squad, some decent players there including Jay Robinson from Southampton who’s worth buying for his talent and to keep Dibling company.

Jay Robinson and Jeremy Monga (Leicester) seem to be the most highly rated English left wingers coming through.

Wow so Chig and Boggan are (im assuming) u14s and were taken for the Geneva cup with u18s ?

If thats correct, thats a huge achievement.

We could do with these 2 doing well this season and pushing for squad / backup places (or on the verge of) in the first team next season.

With a few players (currently) out the door next summer, theres an opportunity for them.

Never really see much praise of Lukjanciks.

Theres a couple of others around his age i think like George Pickford and Seve Patrick who get more of a mention.

What are England seeing that is setting him apart and getting him call ups compared with the others?

To be in the England u19s squad at 17 years of age is quite an achievement.

Nice as well that Armstrong is there with him.
Lukjanciks will be 18 soon so meets criteria for u19 on 1st Jan 26 but too old for u18s .

Chig would be a U14 this year. I have to assume he probably wouldn’t have been included on the team if Doughty or Nsangou weren’t away for the national team.
Boggan was on the U15 team in Cyprus in the spring, and I think there was a comment that he was playing up a year or two, so he’s at most a U15 this year. Either way, impressive for them to be holding down a semi regular spot on a U17 team.
