New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Didn’t think much of the light show as the teams were lining up last night, I’d have thought the pitch would be illuminated normally and the scene lighting used in the stands.
Was looking quite dark on the TV and throwing players shadows all over the place.

House lights down, stadium dark, sirens strike up, spotter lights on. Theatre.

Really poor. Everton are going to have to do something regarding the speed of sorting out people's grievances and issues that people are having
I totally agree. Unfortunately in a new build things like this do happen but the attitude from the club is really poor. Someone should have been on the phone to her on Monday morning saying “don’t worry we’ll sort it out”. We know they have a load of seats held back for member sales and seat unique so this isn’t going to be an impossible problem to fix but at present when things do wrong the initial attitude from the club is to shrug. Even their official press statement is rubbish. It comes across like the usual dodgy energy company trying to avoid responsibility. All they had to do was say we are aware of it and we will be in touch asap to sort it out.

Was that in the Lower South and they've effectively sold a standing space?

Obviously bad still, but given there is four of them together if she did want to sit down she could. Strange as you would expect every row to have a gap or at least every so many rows.

Ferries drift past the imposing six-sided maritime clock that allows those on board to see the time no matter if docked or setting sail, and in an instant you are transported to a bygone age when Bramley-Moore Dock was used to load coal and merchants were wealthy. The first building that visitors on cruise ships will see now is the new stadium where the posh seats have heating controls and a TV screen, and are sold out with a waiting list. They cost between £36,000 and £48,000 per season for a block of four seats, which includes a dining package.
This bit is news indeed, 12k a head for 19 home games? £632 a game. What's on the menu, dodo egg omelettes and dinosaur steaks?

I liked the short light show before the match last Wednesday, not over the top or too gimmicky, just right.

Noticed on Sunday the lights coming on and off when the players came out, so was looking forward to seeing that Wednesday.

Will be better again as the nights draw in and it's already fully dark by kick off.
