I know it's very early days but just wondering how people think this will play out next season if Grealish has a successful loan spell here and sparks interest from other clubs (which I have no doubt he will)

Is he going to fall in love with the club & fans and not entertain potentially seeking a move somewhere else?

Will we take up the option to buy for £50m meaning any outside interest is irrelevant?

i just can’t see him taking the pay cut required to sign for us on a Perm. And I also can’t see us having the cash to pay a transfer fee and the wages required. *unless we make the CL*

Enjoy it while it lasts. Best case might be another loan I think.

Well, it’s certainly a choice to focus on that.

I think he'll get better as he plays more with his team mates. A few times tonight his speed of thought was just too quick for others.

He doesn't need to get better, it's those in and around him who need to step up to his level or as near as damn it. The last thing we need is for him to drop down a gear and become frustrated because others just do not have the ability to read his strength of thought, Ndiaye probably being the exception.

Disappointing for Jack but its very early days this season and gives him more time to rest and train with the team.
