New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Some people don't deserve good things.

No doubt in a couple of years Goodison will be talked about as a fortress where we won every game, sung for 90 minutes straight and had opposition crying before they left the tunnel

The reality being that much of the last decade at Goodison was one of the easiest places to come in the league.
Have to say I agree.

We've been out sung by the away fans lots of home games for years. Don't think most blues are that bothered by it.

Bollocks, almost every player or Manager you hear talking about Goodison say it was a tough place to visit.

Horrendous, simply horrendous.

Be amazing to get back to double figures in the W column in BMDs first season.

Based purely on my one visit on Sunday, menacing may not be the word that could be applied to our new home. Im talking of the acoustics from the section where the away support is housed is extremely audible. Away teams could well be emboldened. Two games in and both Brighton and Mansfield fans claiming they out shouted us. Im not sure about that in that travelling fans of all teams generally are vocal most of the time, but in doing so are unlikely to hear the resident supporters.
Both teams were sent packing with a twin nil defeat so little emboldening on the evidence so far.

Home record has been terrible last couple of seasons, as sad as it was leaving goodison. With the takeover and moving into bmd feel has given us all a lift and fresh start that was needed

Looking at all the absolutely ruined buildings around it... I wonder what the obsession is with buying nelson dock?

Everton could redevelop loads around it for a fraction of the price.

I know TFG have already done a feasibility study on nelson dock for an indoor arena, just seems daft now I've been
I'd be disappointed if we acquired Nelson Dock simply to fill it in and build on it. Might as well have gone to Stonebridge Cross in that case.
