Doubt many would be clad in monitrexImagine if Oasis where on
Anyone think we should have a bat signal but an Everton badge?Be smart when that signage is lit up
Just have a beer mate...Here's another thing that gets on my tits about these ambulance chasers: why is the 'stadium' part of Hill Dickinson Stadium almost there as an after thought with narrower lettering?
Those corporate rats would have just Hill Dickinson if they could.
The tail wagging the dog isn't in it.
I utterly despise what they've had done for them by Everton for a few quid.

If this is the case and it should be, why did they have a huge bank of seats empty on the upper stand? Note; no need for mass empty seats on the lower level. Segregation argument doesn't add up.Shutters cone down, think they've got them pre installed at different points so the can segregate at different points around the stadium for different events
Didnt look at the small printDoes PL rules say: every club will ensure that away fans look like they own their stadium and that their own fans look like ten bob?
5 wins at home last season suggests otherwiseIt's fair to say now after a few games have passed and the novelty of the stadium has begun to fade - at least slightly - realities are beginning to bite.
Goodison was a menacing stadium for away teams, and it's going to take a long time to replicate it at what looks to be a more neutrally laid out and anodyne new stadium.
All of this is only an issue for those watching on telly isn’t it. Like most ST holders, I’m not arsed about what it looks like on Sky. The stadium is magnificent, whether it looks it on TV or not. That premium seat deal for tonights game looked good value
I completely agree. It's handed to opposing fans the biggest visual impact in the stadium and allows their followers to be seen as dominating the proceedings. How on earth the club felt that having them on display like this was a great idea is beyond comprehension. No fan consulted on this would ever have countenenced it.
But surely this is one of the more easily fixable issues about the layout of the stadium?
Shift all the away fans onto the upper terracing and out of the lower deck. That way the north end of the ground can become - for tv purposes - a continuous mass of Everton supporters.
The stuff you talk about in terms of disabled bays needs considering too. I feel loathe to say they're a 'problem' because its very emotive and if I had family there I wouldn't thank people for seeing it that way...but IT IS a massive visual issue in a designated 'Home End' of a stadium. It just is. I have no idea of the solution on that or even whether one should rightfully be pursued, but anyone who believes it doesn't detract from what we see in football as an orthodox layout is kidding themsleves.
This stadium layout doesn't work for Evertonians. It's no use saying it does, because it doesn't.
Christ, you talk some plums. It's fair to say now after a few games have passed and the novelty of the stadium has begun to fade - at least slightly - realities are beginning to bite.
