2025/26 Tyler Dibling

I don't mean this in a negative way, but so far i'd say it's only really been an acceptable window rather than a really good one. We've signed some good players, but we had an awful lot we needed to do, so I don't think it's been a window which has significantly moved the dial at this point. That can change if we can somehow bring in another couple of quality players, but right at this moment it just feels sort of 'OK'.

I think its just enough for a european place. That would already be a good achievement.

But, I think we need a Right back (Fort) and a player who can play both wings and has real pace (Fofana) to make this a top window. Perhaps also a DM but that depends on Garner/Armstrong being used in the 6.

If we can bring those 2 types in then next summer we will see the younger players have (hopefully) improve a level higher and the likes of Aznou, Armstrong and Dibbling mean we only need a couple of top players added for the next push.

Patterson - Fort
McNeil - Fofana

Would be ace.

Looks like his family stayed for the game last night as well (sat behind Rossie). Fair play to them.

He was trying to keep the ball because we were in game management mode against a packed defence who weren't really pushing up even after falling behind.

I would have liked to have seen the whole team be a little more adventurous with the ball after the first goal. But we will know more about what he can offer when we see him play in a game where there is more space.

He didn't do anything fantastic but he didn't do anything wrong either. He showed he has ability so plenty to build on
Agree fully - he seemed to be playing within himself on instruction. These Carabao cup ties are on a precipice at 1-0, they score and its the lottery of penalties.

Lots of people seem unimpressed with him after like a 20 minute showing? Seems weird tbh. He needs time to settle. Give him a season and see where we are. He wont light the world up right away.
Lots of people overreacting both ways because loads of have already started writing off Barry.

I just said I wanted to see a moment of excitement from him but didn't see much other than, as plenty of others have said, a neat and tidy player who didn't lose the ball.

There's nobody losing their heads yet and calling him crap. We can all calm down lads.
