I think it would be a good move for him - even a bang average striker should score goals for Celtic/Rangers in the SPL. Like someone else said his stock is pretty low at the moment because he’s barely kicked a ball for us, so looking to sell permanently wouldn’t make much sense.

Yes. If he cannot stay fit and score goals in the SPL, then it's time to accept he has no future with us.

Yep. Options should only be a thing if we can afford that financially/squad wise and I don't think we are in a place yet to allow for them.

….lots of criticism of Martin for the new recruits, not seen any mention of DOF. I watched their last league game, new players looked really poor big CB looked lost. Mikey Moore looked ok, a little surprised he went to Rangers, I’d have thought he had better suitors.

Perhaps, but Martin failed up to get the Southampton job (sub 40% win percentage before there) and was completely out of his depth last season. If Kev gave him the job, that's one thing, but this guy isn't a good manager (and that was obvious before he got there).

Really surprised Spurs let him go out on loan. Lad is a real talent. Think his progress would have been enhanced more working under Frank.
