2025/26 Tyler Dibling

It's no wonder players leave with "fans" like some of you lot. Give the kid a break. He's been here two days and joined barely any training sessions.

Some of you expect him to be like Messi from the word go. Honestly grow up some of you and give him time. He's 19 and moved half way around the country you cant expect him to settle that quickly.

Jesus, im not sure some of you watched the game.

He looked absolutly fine, and WAY above Mansfields level.

Liked the ball, never lost it, can shift it very fast and clearly will go past people easily.

And barely broke sweat.

Promising.
Don't think he was trying and still looked like a player whose level was miles above this one

As you say, looked technically proficient and didn't give the ball way once. There were a few moments where I wanted him to be more aggressive on and off the ball, but then why would one do that? Make it a basketball game if you end up haring forward, or potentially injure yourself if you fly into tackles. If anything I think he showed good maturity in managing the game that way

And anyone who knows football can see a player from their gait, the way they control the ball, how they strike it. This guy is 19 and he looks technically fantastic

I think we'll see him raise his level for the opposition

I haven’t seen a single person criticise him tbh, so really weird I keep seeing posts like this.

I have got a load of people on ignore mind.

He was trying to keep the ball because we were in game management mode against a packed defence who weren't really pushing up even after falling behind.

I would have liked to have seen the whole team be a little more adventurous with the ball after the first goal. But we will know more about what he can offer when we see him play in a game where there is more space.

He didn't do anything fantastic but he didn't do anything wrong either. He showed he has ability so plenty to build on
