Manchester United

They're going to do it again, aren't they? Back this no hoper of a manager with a lot of money to try and shoehorn players into his rubbish system, only to sack him for being hopeless and replace him with a coach who plays a completely different way.
That's basically what we did in between the Moyes reigns. Went from Martinez to Koeman to whatever the hell Silva was to Ancelotti to FSW to Lampard to Dyche. Not one of them were even remotely close to the other.

Who is going to take that job if Amorim gets the boot? Seriously I can't think of a name off the top of my head.
They're currently in a shambolic state , but they're a global footballing institution regardless due to the copious accolades attained by Ferguson's tenure. They'll still have a slate of quality candidates to choose from , will they opt for the correct option? Probably not and would the ongoing turbulence deter some bigger names? of course but the selection won't be barren. Also worse case scenario they could probably persuade Ole to return

In all seriousness - how do you fix a problem like Man United at this point?

They've hired some genuinely decent managers over the last few years and none of them have worked out. You feel like they just need to try and go right back to basics at this point..
Like us on steroids. We had to wait out all the money draining dross to pass our nadir. Except that they keep on buying and the new players have the contamination of the existing rotten players.

Our get out of jail card was the stadium and change of ownership. I guess they have the same Idea.

Like Wile E. Coyote chasing Roadrunner over a giant chasm. If they stop moving and look down they could fall into complete disaster.

It's actually a great narrative to observe unfolding

Like a horror movie when the protagonists decide to split up.

It's Ferguson, him watching on from the stands like a gum chewing spectre has cast a curse over the club

Until he pops his clogs they are screwed
