New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Soft lad???
Ye, you're an absolute halfwit. There's blues who had to jump through hoops just to get a copy of the ticket they'd paid for in order to go the game tonight but you think someone saying the whole shebang is "rough around the edges" is worthy of your wrath.

Glad it all went smoothly for you but that doesn't mean it did for everyone, soft lad.

What's with the anger ?

Did anyone miss the game tonight ?

Soft lad ? Half wit ?

There is no anger.

Why are you deflecting from facts? People had a lousy experience tonight and it was much more difficult than it needed to be. The club turned off phonelines and working people were told to go and join a queue at the ticket office to get a paper copy of the ticket that the club previously steadastly refused to provide them with in anything but digital form, at an unspecified but last minute time.

If you think that isn't "rough around the edges" then you really are more stupid than you appear, and that's something I feel compelled to congratulate you on because I didn't think anyone could be more thick than you, soft lad.

Fourth time I've been and still pinching myself at it all. It is incredible and really does increase our profile. I've sat in North, West, and East now and all views are great. It isn't without its issues though and some need attention earlier than others.

Food and drink keep running out

No soft drinks in Club View tonight but they got some bottles a while later that were lukewarm at best. Still charged for pint size drink. Guinness in the e-bar was an inch from the pint line (the £7 pint line!). We were on row 63 (back row) for just this game but that is a hell of a walk from outside. Can't see how people with mobility issues will deal with that? Maybe I missed the escalator but we went in turnstile 20

Water was off in female and male toilets second half

No lights on Everton badge and Hill Dickinson signs externally when it was dark? Not sure if that was strategic or an error. My guess is the latter given the importance.

Think there needs to be more lighting on parts of Regent road - specifically by the bridge as I saw a few people trip over the kerb/s on the walk back. May not be an Everton thing but it's a H&S thing and I'm sure they can influence it

Getting out the ground is problematic. It's already a right situation with only a few gates for egress around the fanzone but then they have food stalls and programme sellers with queues that add to the density. It could be an accident waiting to happen with young kids etc.

1000s of fans stayed in the concourses to watch Grimsby v Man U shootout - Everton Football Club turned the TVs off after 24 pens !!!! What a right shower. 🤬
Was great fun watching that shootout.

I loved how people whipped their phones out to watch after they pulled the plug - and were celebrating the final missed penalty at different times. I had to see it with my own eyes on my phone before I believed it!

You said the stadium was rough around the edges .
Did anyone miss the game tonight ?
Did you ?

Keep the insults coming mate , you're making me look good.

We put escalators in the Main Stand at Goodison. Why not at BMD
As an uninformed guess, because we were skint ? I would assume loads of planned bells and whistles were scrapped, once Uzi’s money got banned.

Happens to many projects when money gets tight, under the polite title of Value Engineering. Stripping out any cost possible.

Hopefully, the original design included for more escalators and that “soft spots” in the structure have been included for their installation when £’s allow.
