New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Disagree. My first visit too and although it looks fantastic from the outside, inside leaves a lot to be desired. At 68 years of age I struggled to make it up to the South Stand. Still the same old problems with toilet facilities. Same old queues at the bar with inflated prices. Not much different than St James Park tbh. Underwhelmed
You mean up to the steps in the ground to your seat? Not much can really do if that is the case. Was always going to be more difficult as a bigger stadium, then the rest prices just bad everywhere. But agree with the bars ques does need to be a process to help improve it to get service faster. But is only going to get better with time

We put escalators in the Main Stand at Goodison. Why not at BMD

Do they have the bars open after games? Would be better to help more stay reducing the amount of people getting the train. Also give the club more money
That’s the thing. The stadium has been thought of and designed for people to arrive earlier and stay later. Not supposed to be the Goodison routine of arriving at 2:59pm and pouring out at the whistle. This will be another teething issue though and people will find their groove after a while. Most of this stuff will iron out, I don’t think there is much cause for alarm. I’m itching to get over there and try it for myself.

First match there with my son, the walk from town to the stadium is going to help me get my steps in. They need loads of free shuttle buses or something - I saw an old man fall over walking back.

I thought it was weird that you couldn’t get a programme inside the stadium. The place was brilliant though.

The only thing I wanted to share as a word of caution was that there were some idiots in these apartments on Bath St dropping bags of some type of liquid onto fans on the way home. It was only by luck that they didn’t get a bag of what I can only assume is piss right on my 6 year old lads head - that would have pretty much ruined the lads dream day out that he had today. Something for people to be cautious about.
