There was a moment in the first half when he gains possession in our box and instead of just whacking it away right back to the opposition he shields the ball until he can make a pass to someone in a better position (although said player then just whacks it away!).

I'm not used to us having players composed on the ball (we have a few now).

Solid hour from Jack, you could see the plan from Mansfield was to get on him as soon as he got the ball, was hoping the chance he had before coming off had gone in just to pipe their fans down a bit

I think he'll get better as he plays more with his team mates. A few times tonight his speed of thought was just too quick for others.

Pretty sure when subbed he went off the other side of the field just so he could do a walk around the stadium and soak up the crowd.

It's just the sense of excitement when he gets the ball and glides with it which lifts the crowd. It's also noticeable how much the opposition panic. Going to create a lot of space for others to exploit.
