The guy is a really bad finisher that open the body right foot accross the keeper shot is his only shot type. Really readable

However, he definitely has the natural instinct of getting to the right positions. I think he can get 10+ this season even while being frustrating

Beto is a huge tease. He is very athletic for his size and gets himself in great position to score frequently. He just doesn't finish off enough of them. But on a team that has stretches where it seems no one can get the ball into scoring position, you want to keep playing him and hope he can improve his scoring success.

I want to like Beto, and I do like Beto, but he's not convincing. Better than DCL? Yes. Good enough for what we need? Not convinced.

Nevertheless, it's a good sign a forward is scoring even if they are not convincing...

We just need to accept him for what he is. He’ll frustrate us for large spells and will miss plenty of great opportunities, but he’ll put himself about tirelessly and pop up with goals when we need them.

He frustrates the hell out of me but I’m willing him to do well. His flick on which resulted in counter attack would get punished against a better team. He could have had a hatrick tonight. Needs to be more clinical

My issue with him is... do I think that he could maybe score 10 goals this season starting week in week out? Maybe.

Do I believe that the 3 attackers behind him will score 10 less goals because he's starting week in week out. Absolutely.

I think we will get way more goals from Ndiaye, Grealish, Dibling, Alcaraz, playing off a striker that can hold or flick the ball around the corner.

I actually also think Barry would get 10 once thing started clicking for him.

I thought Barry did well, keeps the ball and gets his teammates into dangerous positions around the box.

Barry starting and Beto coming on to run at defenders is probably the plan for now.

They play quite differently from each other the more I see them play.

Got to give Barry plenty of settling in like we did for Beto. Currently Beto is the most dangerous of the two of them but we have to hold judgement on Barry until he has had a good few games

He only scored because he couldn’t miss. He’s better when the ball is in front of him, but anything that goes into him with his back to goal usually ends up back with the opposition.

He’s very limited.

I would literally just smash balls at Barry and Beto all day in training and whoever can actually trap the ball the most frequently starts.
