What Did You Last Eat Thread

Panini for breakfast with a mixture of Scottish mature cheddar and Cheshire cheese.
I often have this combo on sandwiches and find it awesome.
I was brought up on Merseyside with Cheshire cheese and have lived in Scotland for the last 45years, only mixed the two in the last couple of years and glad I did, it's nice any time of day.

Do you run a marathon, or erm, ahem, take part in any other type of daily marathon? Because you seem to eat well and you've made no admission of how much abuse your scales get...

Got history of heart problems on my ma's side so believe it not i try and keep an eye on it like ha

Yes they are, we just keep getting pounded. And the energy clowns have put bills up again. Thames water will be in special measures yet, then there'll be a national rescue package costing us even more billions. Hope someone's kept all those inflatable boats, we can get a reverse Dunkirk going and all become very European.

It really is out of hand, luckily me and my better half can batch cook and do our best to budget and make sure we are eating a reasonably healthy diet, with some treats here and there.

I’m sure ten years ago shopping just seemed so manageable. Going to the dogs this place since brexit, I know there are other factors (inflation ect) but my daughter just spent the summer in the south of France (Nice) and she was paying next to nothing for her shopping, local produce and good food, even eating out for 1/4 of the price here. The south of France for goodness sake!
