Before internet probably got half my tickets from touts. Pretty sure it's requirment from premier league from next season to be digital.

Just watching Toffee TV and they’re talking about not being able to share match tickets for season ticket holders, so if couldn’t make the next game, is there no facility for me to give it to a pal of mine on the waiting list?

If I sent him the email I downloaded my season ticket from to put on his phone would that work? Or can they only be downloaded once? Obviously I would only do that with someone I trust. Just thinking if I wanted to give my ticket to someone on here for whatever reason, in the spare ticket thread, is that now impossible?

For prem games you can use the club portal to do a ticket transfer but the person receiving it has to have a membership.

It has for some people and not others. Seems to be easier to do on android than iPhone but this is something the club could change at any point.

Problem is digital tickets don't stop touting in any way. In fact with regard to season tickets they most probably make it easier.

Just get a burner android phone, they are cheap enough and just keep your match tickets on there. Then you can give the phone to any friends or family if you can't go. No involvement from the club required.

That will work. From a security perspective you probably should use a separate google account for the wallet that you don’t use for anything else otherwise you could find credit cards and various other things migrate themselves onto the burner phone from your regular phone.

Yes unfortunately. In theory if all works as it should then when you delete it from one wallet then it should allow you to re add it to a new wallet but that doesn’t always happen and people sometimes have to get in touch with the club as a consequence.

Yeah it should work okay, i've seen a few people comment that they've done that and its been fine. Worse case scenario is you have to contact the club and get them to sort it. I'd just swap it over straight after a home game and then you've got a bit of time to sort it out with the club if there's an issue. International football break coming up soon as well so after tonight's game would be a good time to do it.

won’t work with a burner mate do you know what a burner phone is?

Crackers. Why are they going out of their way to have empty seats in ground. Further in that toffee tv episode they mentioned someone was in the autocup but can’t make tonight so no seat will be empty
