New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Gosh did it spoil the game for those unhappy punters? I didn't have a single drink or a bite to eat but I had a whale of a time.

I was only getting a couple of bottle of Fanta so didn’t affect me. To be fair like if I was standing in a massive queue and got to the front and told there is no beer left I would be cheesed off, not because I couldn’t get a beer but more pissed off because a member of staff didn’t announce it. It’s not like the member of staff had to walk far to shout it, they are literally standing at the entrance to the self service.

Anyone booked in to the village street with upgraded tickets? Seen something about smart casual but thought it may have been for premium lounges.
Going tonight with family, is there a no trainers policy and can kids wear their tops?
Thanks in advance
I’ve got a season ticket there and worn trainees twice already…it’s the footwear of choice for all us walking from town.

It’s pretty casual and loads of people in shorts on Sunday and footy tops.

Enjoy!

That 'cut out' in the top tier of the North Stand. Every time I see it, it does my head in. Why, Dan? Why?
Millenium stadium Cardiff has the same. Still sends me doolally every time I see it.

A dispute between the WRU and Cardiff Rugby Club, based right next door, prevented a symmetrical build for the north stand.

Yeah me too. Needed to fit into the site limits apparently. I’m also not a fan of the top of the Hill Dickinson letters being visible above the south stand. But they’re probably the only two minor quibbles when everything else is the stuff of dreams.

I really like it. It's unique and provides an easily identifiable backdrop.

The big wall of glass looks amazing when you pass it on the train
Ditto. It automatically aligns it more with a stadium with individual stands rather than an asymmetrical and pretty soulless bowl. It’s individual.

As other have said, the reasoning is due to the size of the site and proximity to the wall.

North lower would have been better for you mate + could have got yourself a perfect tan every other weekend!

To be honest, the biggest factor in my seat choice was my Dad. Couldn't do standing and wanted as short a walk as possible from town. Near an exit and row 33, so no steps when in the bowl. Just a shame I couldnt get more central.
