New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Not sure why people are saying our concourse is too cramped? You know you can walk all the round and there's tons of space and stalls with smaller queues.
To be fair it’s hard to do that because of the queues for toilets and food obstructing your pathway.
Obviously once the staff get the hang of their jobs and start working a bit faster , and the management improve the logistics , you would expect faster moving queues would reduce the ‘pinch points ‘
Toilets will remain a problem though . No improvement on Goodison in that respect.
Our concourse area is more restricted than Tottenhams for instance, but as I have mentioned, it’s presumably the price of constructing on a limited footprint .

Toilets are standard ratios save aren't they?

I would have thought so , no reason to presume otherwise.
Not a big issue for me personally tbh .
I do most of my drinking post match , stick to rums pre match ( missed a few goals over the years due to toilet visits )
But it’s a complaint from many fellow Evertonians and apparently away fans too
Would have thought at a new ground where they want to sell you overpriced booze they would have been slightly more generous with toilet facilities.

I would take the staff who stand around and greet you hello and goodbye and put them on active queue management across all concurses.

The other things is there needs to be a properly thought out way of monitoring and moving people into other areas of concurses which are under utilised and that includes toilets and concessionary outlets.

Everton need to take a good look at US stadia management based on my past experience.

We are a bit amateurish on that front and it hurts the experience and brand withing the stadia given prices.

Some of us weren't able to learn this because the queues getting through our gate were so bad (took me 40 mins to get in, having joined the line at 1.10pm), we only just made kick off.

So, when you get a 15-minute window of opportunity at HT, you're joining the first queue you see.

Should also add to that the stewards outside need improving , most were lacking in knowledge to be able to answer basic queries and generally didn’t have a clue on Sunday.
Also need more oversight at the turnstiles , too few stewards there , and when someone was having difficulties using their phone there were too few stewards around that area to react promptly and keep the queue moving .

it's 1892 and Everton have just played Nottingham Forest in their first league game at Goodison Park

Arthur to Doris - there are not enough toilets, there was no food for the vegans, the queues to get a beer were horrendous, there's not enough leg space, it's a soulless bowl with no atmosphere, there needs to be more Everton branding

Doris to Arthur - shut up Arthur its the first game, give them 130 years to get it right

What part of the ground are you matey? Where I am, didnt find a problem at all really, small queue but nothing out the ordinary for an event. Also, enough bars etc to cater for everyone imo.

As has been said before, the railings on the south lower need to be painted blue so they don't stand out as much.

As with Spurs safe standing, it seems to look more sparse when people are standing v sitting. It would be great if they allowed a higher ratio of people in the safe standing area to pack out that area just behind the goal.
That why it looks sparse, because it is. The stand has been designed with higher ratios in mind. Whether the government ever allows that or not is a different story
