Defeat-induced saltiness I reckonI've never been to the Amex admittedly, but was reading those comments thinking it must be an amazing ground...it looks absolutely garbage
Am I missing something?

Yeah itās something like that. I canāt remember where I read now. I know the ratio allowed in lower leagues (and places like Germany) is something like 1.8:1. Iām sure I read the rules are looking to change ahead of the euros but canāt remember where I read it now. It's Everton's intention, but only if the laws allow it. I get the feeling there isn't much pressure coming from anywhere to change it.
Very good wifi there to be fair...that's about it reallyI've never been to the Amex admittedly, but was reading those comments thinking it must be an amazing ground...it looks absolutely garbage

Aware of that, however, when Everton are on the attack/ corners/dangerous freekick etc people will naturally stand up - the south stand is known as the 'blue wall' and the atmosphere end, this was described in detail by the clubThe whole stand isn't standing. Only the Lower.

Filtering out the usual inter fan bias, some of their complaints are valid.[Football] - The big Everton question?
Post match all we were asked on our long walk back was 'what did you think of our new ground' Now we too were proud of the Amex, indeed it's still a question I ask for first timers, so I gave an honest report back. Outside entertainment. Very good, even had toilets although long queues. The...www.northstandchat.com
Interesting observations from the Brighton fans
Comments?
Glad itās not just me who finds the toilet signs confusing! Why have they done that???Filtering out the usual inter fan bias, some of their complaints are valid.
Agree about the toilet issue , does seem woefully underprovided, also what have they done with the signage for the toilets ? They have taken a time honoured and easily legible sign , added a slash () and rendered it confusing , the opposite of what signage is meant to achieve.
It is also apparent that the concourse areas are too tight , but I think that is the price we have paid for such a tight footprint.
The catering definitely needs to improve.
Water fountains could have been provided, bit cynical not having them ( and to then run out of water.)
P.A. was definitely too loud , first game so a bit of overexcitement maybe , needs to dial it back in future ( and preferably stfu).
They do seem to be obsessed with security , maybe Brighton fans like being fondled by strange men ?
Padded seats ?? Haha come on that isnāt an issue to moan about .
Final observation , they are right that it could become a bit lively at the end of the game when opposition are exiting . But I expect the bizzies have planned for that , we shall have to wait and see .
I will always love Goodison, but I am so tired of having to trade on our history and tradition in the absence of everything else. Moshiri - for all his many faults - did make a really historic statement, in hindsight, when he said "Everton cannot be a museum."
Thought you meant constantly standing not periodically. Ye I agree mate.Aware of that, however, when Everton are on the attack/ corners/dangerous freekick etc people will naturally stand up - the south stand is known as the 'blue wall' and the atmosphere end, this was described in detail by the club
So why would people, knowing this, choose there over the side of the pitch, if they just want to sit in silence all game?
Used to keep away fans in for half an hour in the old daysFiltering out the usual inter fan bias, some of their complaints are valid.
