I'd agree the away fans would be, if seated, but this is safe standing so there shouldn't be any of the playing surface obstructed...but need confirmation and so far have not seen or heard any complaints. Of all the things Brighton seem to have moaned about, obstructed views wasn't one of them.

In terms of the South Stand Walls, I'd have to respectfully disagree. None of the playing surface is obstructed and i'm confident this wouldn't be affected by anyone standing up either. Again, I've not seen or heard anyone complain. I'm going tomorrow so will check these and take pictures if i get chance.

With the Away fans were talking about give or take 16 seats, and again there not seeing a tiny percentage of the pitch. There is never going to be a great uproar here, I suppose that is true even on the home side, so few seats with only a little bit possibly hidden.

Be great to get photos, but remember you'll need to be sat on that seat and there needs to be people standing on that South stand to get what I mean.

On a side note , it was great to be able to stand and watch a home match again.
There is no reason why safe standing couldn’t have been introduced years ago , rather than the political and financially motivated rush to abolish the terraces.

Some weird comments about atmosphere, it was amazing. It was quiet at times due to the performance on the pitch, but that’s no different than Goodison. I’m sorry but our new place is amazing!

After years of standing in the Lower Gwladys, it felt very odd to be sat down in the Upper South Stand on Sunday. Just feels strange to me to be sat down singing and clapping, probably should have got our tickets in the lower in hindsight. Would love for the whole of the South stand to be standing as it’d really improve the atmosphere.

I've never been to the Amex admittedly, but was reading those comments thinking it must be an amazing ground...it looks absolutely garbage

This has probably been asked a few times so sorry but in terms of the gate number on your digital ticket locked is it locked in? I.e. if it's telling you to go in SE could you walk around further and use the escalator to access level 2?

The whole stand isn't standing. Only the Lower.

As has been said before, the railings on the south lower need to be painted blue so they don't stand out as much.

As with Spurs safe standing, it seems to look more sparse when people are standing v sitting. It would be great if they allowed a higher ratio of people in the safe standing area to pack out that area just behind the goal.

I think the intention is to increase the ratio. I think that’s why the capacity might increase ahead of the euros.

It's Everton's intention, but only if the laws allow it. I get the feeling there isn't much pressure coming from anywhere to change it.
