The great Jimmy Gabriel sold to Southampton at the age of 26 years old for a certain Howard Kendal - he was a true Evertonian - came back in our hour of need as a temporary manager too - a great wing half -

What a class side that team was I was there that day - Liverpool were at home too in the FA CUP they drew we hammered the underdogs Colchester - we were in our away kit as they chose to play at Goodison Park for the gate money after knocking Leeds out in the previous round so they played in their blue kit -

What a tremendous photo. The way this photo was taken makes the GS seem much more bigger than it ever was (yes I know it wasn't small). Must have been some attendance that day, it looks packed.
