The bag checking etc was a lot more sensible than at the Roma game. The metal detectors didnt go off for my keys and my bottle of water was ignored; no body scan and didnt need to empty pockets this time.

Shouldn’t be overlooked how important it is to get a win at home so early, to stop the stupid media circus narrative building up of how much we miss Goodison. That could’ve easily started snowballing quickly and seeped into the fanbase and eventually the players. A good monkey to get off the back straight away.
