What a difference a day (or week) makes...

Monday evening most of us were rather annoyed (understatement) about everything Everton. Moyes messed up the tactics, players lacked conviction and quality, the recruitmentteam failed to do their jobs and our new owners were a bunch of amateurs.

Now, not even a week later, the sentiment completely turned around. We have some stellar players in the squad, the recruitment bought a future worldbeater in Dibling and more might be coming, the stadium is the coolest in the world.

I love this feeling! It's been a very long time we had the attacking options we have now. We look comfortable on the ball and creative No more "boring Everton". Keep it going lads!

Bit early to be sucking each others', er, Everton mints, just yet.

There is huge work still to be done this window to give us any expectation of a good season. Today, a welcome respite - but merely a start.
I totally agree. But there seems to be a bit of optimism we havent seen for a long time. Nice change from the sarcasm we had for the last decade.

I was certainly annoyed with our performance Monday tbh but accepted without a very harsh penalty, we'd have still got a point.

Similarly today, thrilled with the result but we got away with a lot.

We're going in the right direction and it was critical we got off the board today. But it is, obviously, a work in progress, and we still have square pegs in round holes which is frustrating.

This, basically. A somewhat fortunate result today and the next week will decide if we settle for mediocrity this season or have ambitions of proper progress.

Still, think we're going in the right direction - just in a very cumbersome, frustrating manner.

2-3 more and we might have a squad
Or at least be able to cover a normal amount of injuries.

It’s not a cause for celebration just yet. Still desperately need a RB, DM and another forward. Though I’m happy with KDH, Grealish and Dibling.
