Hi All,

Stags Fan here, very much looking forward to visiting the new stadium on Wednesday, saw it today and it looked incredible. One slight issue I’m having is around parking, I will be bringing my father with me who is not as mobile as he used to be. Ideally I’d like to get as close to the ground as possible, something which is helped by the fact he holds a blue badge. However, when looking at the Council website it’s a little vague on where best to park. The website suggests road side parking in the restricted zone is a potential option but social media conflicts with this a little. Any advice given would be greatly appreciated. Very much looking forward to the game and hoping we don’t have to ponder the result too much with a long walk back to the car!

All the best

HI Mate info hard to find as they are doing everything possible to stop travel by car. Link below on everton site confirms blue badge can park anywhere in the restricted areas detailed in the second link

Be Warned though traffic is an absolute nightmare round those ways with roads essentially being closed as fans are arriving so suggest you get there as early as possible (e.g my cousin travelled from far today and tried to get a taxi from city centre which could only get to about a 20 min walk away)
Same goes for when your leaving id expect to be stuck around for a bit after the game

Parking is a nightmare and traffic as has been said is heavy, when I was walking to the ground on Saturday there was a blue badge holder parking at Sandhills station (just outside). This is a 15 minute walk to the ground and on the edge of where the traffic builds! May not be close enough but is a good balance from what I can see. Hope you work it out pal, and enjoy the game!

I'm a blue badge holder and I'm unsure where i can park.
Best suggestion, park at the multi storey on the Strand and have a slow stroll along the dock road plenty of bars etc for pit stops along the way.
You can park on the Bootle Strand shopping centre multi storey and get a Soccer bus from there to close by to the stadium, return to car park on the bus after the game, costs about £2 e/w.
Finally, try contacting Everton, they have a couple of "on the day" parking slots for blue badge holders within the stadium perimeter.
Best of luck

If, on reflection, you don’t fancy the frankly uncertain parking options near to the stadium, you could use the Q-Park at Liverpool One and take the 929 shuttle bus from Stand 4 at the immediately adjacent bus station. Short walk for dad and at the other end of the bus trip. The bus back follows the same route in reverse. £2 each way.
