Hello everyone! Last year I happened on a video of a guy explaining the English Premier League using charts and colored pencils. His little 2-minute video got my all interested in the EPL, having watched very little of the sport. I caught a couple of World Cup matches in the early 2000s. I watched a couple of Chelsea matches last year and wasn't inspired to keep watching.

This year I thought I'd give it another go, and I asked around at work to see who I should support. There are a lot of people from Europe who work at my job, and they have been life-long fans of soccer...uh football. I had one guy tell me to watch Chelsea. About five told me to pay attention to Manchester United. I watched ManU for the summer series, the friendly after, and the first two matches of the season. But yesterday morning I caught the Everton match. I'll put it this way: I was told to watch Manchester United. I enjoyed watching Everton. So I'll be paying attention to both teams, though I feel like when it comes to the match in November, I'll be cheering on Everton.

Ann Arbor, Michigan

I'm not one yet, but based on watching the match yesterday and a little segment on EPL Mornings about the new stadium, I can definitely see myself becoming a fan.

Your all-time favourite Everton player?:
So far, I enjoyed watching Ndiaye. I loved the intensity and the way he found himself in position for that first goal.

Your current favourite player?:
With 6 matches of Manchester United under my belt, Amad Diallo is my guy currently.

Pineapple on Pizza, Is it socially acceptable? What are your views?:
Pineapple is one of my favorite things to eat, but I simply cannot fathom how someone could enjoy it on pizza.

Michigan is nippy in winter I believe. Welcome, knock Chelsea, Manure and the rest on the head,if you're a masochist, and if you're looking for drama, Everton's the club for you.

Yeah it can get pretty cold here, but not steadily until late January/Early February. We will often have spring-like weather near Christmas, and most years we have spring -> winter -> spring weather all in the same week. Michigan is bizarre weather-wise.

And yeah, when it comes to drama and disappointment, I'm used to it. I've been a Detroit Lions fan my whole life. Until a couple years ago, they were the laughing-stock of the NFL for 60+ years. A couple of times a rule was created mid-game just to make sure the Lions didn't win. Fans, players, officials all hated on the Lions. But I was there, rooting them on every year. I can deal with disappointment in blue. :)
