I caught some of this match yesterday, right after watching a segment about the new stadium. I had to stop watching to go to church, but saw the first goal. This team was a lot of fun to watch yesterday, based on my very limited exposure to the sport. Did they play as well as they looked, or is my naivety showing?

I grew up being a fan of the Detroit Lions of the NFL. I am fully aware of, and used to, disappointment in Blue. lol

It’s because it’s Pickford (and Everton) and he’s doing very well at saving pens, that’s why there is all this faux outrage and nonsense.

My available football pundit show is on ESPN and they filled their entire show with Fulham v Man U and La Liga. DIidn't even put up our result.

Looks like the refs have been told to give a penalty whenever the ball it’s a hand or arm of an Everton player in the box ffs.

It isn't just Everton, and it's hard to understand the definition. I have an opinion, but it'd be a longish post which I try not to do.
