Yep I realise that, I posted the video in the Pickford thread with this comment:

"Nice bit of theatre from TalkSport here, concerning Jordan Pickford using information on his water bottle about penalty takers."

However, there were people out there saying it was cheating, etc. and Keepers shouldn't be allowed to do it. If that is the case, then, in my opinion, players should not be allowed to stagger their run-ups when taking penalties; instead, they should take a straightforward run with no stops and starts or messing about.

Edit: I actually gave this a listen and what a bellend All keepers do research on their opponent. This moron saying it is unsportsmanlike.

Rewatched the game this morning, still can’t believe we didn’t concede. We were clearly the more clinical side, but in parts of that first half were really poor, second half we were better, the pen save was vital though.

Think our players did well with make shift defense against an established and very good attacking side who use wingers, against our right midfielder playing at left back and very large and imposing center back as right back.

From memory the first player I really noticed stuttering his run up taking a penalty was piss stained Aldo. There were calls then to have the practice outlawed but that never happened.
