Loads of other fans saying it sounded quiet on TV, so assume Sky must have had the mics poorly positioned or something because it definitely wasn't.

Watched it on a US sports channel and it was loud.

I echo the views of everyone else here in saying that we have got ourselves a breathtaking new ground. It felt instantly like home and it was a privilege to be able to be there yesterday.

On that note, I am not sure how much has been made of this but the official attendance was 1,000 (one thousand!) under capacity. Presumably due to hospitality seats not being taken up? This was scandalous given the tens of thousands of blues, desperate to attend, who couldn't get tickets. Hopefully something they will fix.

It's annoying but isn't there always a thousand or so missing people at all the big grounds though? I don't understand it myself and have little time to do a proper research but there will always be people who don't turn up on the day for a variety of reasons.

….the club just posted the clip of Ndiaye interview when he fist arrived and his daughter predicted he’d score the first goal at the new stadium. Amazing.

Yes, agreed there are always a few missing. But, at Goodison we were generally only around 200 under capacity so an increase to 1,000 is surprising.

i took mine off as others said it said normal your seat etc ( my family’s ones )

now it won’t let me re add it ffs

saying error maximum number of cards issued (1)remove one of the existing copies from an apple device

i even deleted my old ones

so this is me on the phone to everton all day tomorrow

Have a look in your wallet and expired tickets and it might be there. Mine would periodically disappear last year, and there it would be.

Ignore that it says Brighton: it’ll change for each game a few days beforehand.

Might be partly the seat unique tickets, looks like they've dropped the prices for some of them. A few are under £100 later in the season, I'm sure the cheapest ticket was £125 before the first game.

mine did this too. Hides as it assumes it’s expired. Still says Brighton but back in my wallet.

Are the gates in The Wall to remain locked and only opened om match days?

HD will fast become a tourist attraction as well as a sacred spot for people like yourselves who wish to go and see their stone,

Surely it will be open to allow this.

Went past this morning and it looks to be open. People wandering around the plaza and on Everton way.
