Where is the obligatory picture in the titanic?? I’m have withdrawals here for Everton news!
He got knocked back at the bar in there, cos he forgot his ID, so he’s been moved to the Premier Inn, where he is deliberating with Lenny Henry, to see if this is still the right move for him

Lad. Barry fell over for the first goal and, for the second, controlled a gentle balled passed into him in space, moved 10 yards then squared it to a teammate. Hardly Messi.

We need a striker almost as much as we need a right back.
‘A gentle ball passed into space’.

It was a 50 yard ball down the channel. He knocked it down inch perfect while in the air, made the run to get the ball back and then delayed the square ball until we had 4 other players in attack.

People have clearly already made their mind up about the lad. Hes 22 making his debut in a new league, in a new country and he had a hand in both goals.

You can do this for literally every piece of play ever.

Grealish just dropped the shoulder and blasted it across the box, Ndiaye just threw himself at it, Pickford just fell to his left and caught a ball.

Football is really easy when you're typing on a keyboard 😂

Down around the box, where'd you expect it but if you keep going through him, that will happen higher and higher in an attempt to choke him off. I don't want to see that happening.
If defenders keep crowding Grealish, we will obviously pass to other forwards where there are less defenders. Because Grealish has drawn the best defenders to him.

I'm not sure why you are pretending you don't understand this?

People massively overcomplicate sell-on fees, but it’s actually dead simple. Basically, when a club puts a sell-on clause in a deal, they get a chunk every single time the player moves clubs for the rest of his career. Doesn’t matter if he’s 18 or 38, if he’s going for £100m or a free transfer to League Two, the original club gets their cut. It’s like a lifetime subscription.
We should be doing it more often when we get a fee for a player.
Dead simple, but you have managed to get it wrong.

Yes, Saints get a percentage of any profit we make, but if we subsequently sell him without a sell on clause, then that's it. Southampton don't get another penny. Ever.

I see you have found your new scapegoat. Toxic.

I see you still can't judge a footy player!

Ps there's nothing toxic with commenting politely on our new starting striker. Fans do that non stop at the match!

I was just hoping to see something in him. As you say though esrly days.

It’s his first start for the club. He was involved in both goals. And we won.

Yet you are in here dissecting both goals as way to diminish what he did and be negative about him.

Maybe try supporting one of our young players instead of dragging them down and wanting them to fail so you can be right on the internet.

As I said, toxic. Hopefully you don’t give Tyler the same treatment.
