New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Maybe it was me but it seemed like we got the majority of the calls from the ref yesterday. Could the bigger vocal crowd and more intense atmosphere played a part? Just seemed like when there was a decision to make the ref looked like at times he played to the crowd shouts.
I mean he gave a dodgy pen to Brighton

Could argue there was a foul on gueye for the welbeck missed chance

Missed mitomas handball twice when he hit the bar

I don’t even remember why he booked Beto

I mean, there was a great big iceberg of a call that very definitely didn't go our way yesterday like. :D

I echo the views of everyone else here in saying that we have got ourselves a breathtaking new ground. It felt instantly like home and it was a privilege to be able to be there yesterday.

On that note, I am not sure how much has been made of this but the official attendance was 1,000 (one thousand!) under capacity. Presumably due to hospitality seats not being taken up? This was scandalous given the tens of thousands of blues, desperate to attend, who couldn't get tickets. Hopefully something they will fix.

Is the stadium surrounds open yet? My Mrs wants to see our stone

I was wondering about this.

Are the gates in The Wall to remain locked and only opened om match days?

HD will fast become a tourist attraction as well as a sacred spot for people like yourselves who wish to go and see their stone,

Surely it will be open to allow this.
