Beto is never going to be a top level all round team forward. He does have that happy knack of popping up with goals though. Same sort of thing as with Beckford.

No idea about Barry, looks awkward as hell. Didn't disgrace himself yesterday.

If Barry has a good attitude, then based off yesterday, 22-years-old, making his full debut in a new team, in a new country, then he will definitely improve.

It's fine forming early opinions on new players, but let's not write them off before giving them a chance to adapt.

Sesko can't even get in the Man Utd team yet and hasn't shown anything in his early glimpses, it doesn't mean it won't change after adaptation and he was very good in Germany and internationally

Bit harsh I feel this early in his Everton career to write Barry off just yet! (His pass out of play in 1st 10 mins was funny like). Hes a young lad, in his 1st ever prem game, and while he is deffo raw, he still played a key role in both our goals. Half a season in, well know a lot more about his adaptation and ability but I’m not gonna play judge, jury & executioner just yet after 64 mins of prem football.

I think his link up for the goals was good, showed some technical capabilities in the touch and lay off for the first, and the first time volley to Ndiyae.

He fluffed a gilt edged chance in pre season but otherwise I don't think he's had enough chances or there is enough evidence to label him "technically so bad".

Beto plays with bricks for boots but he is rapid and a big unit which might be enough to nab the odd goal off the bench this year.

Technique is very much secondary to athletic prowess nowadays. If he can hustle and chip in with the odd goal like Bent then he will be doing his job.

Thought Barry was alright, nothing special. What cheesed me off with him a few times was when the second ball was there to be won and he half heartedly made an effort to get there. Also got to bring some more physicality to his game. I k ow still early days like.
